The most amazing venue for a wedding! We just had ours on Saturday and I am still in awe with the whole hall, their set up and all their staff. Gianluca was an absolute gem and helped us til the very last minute. He was so accommodating and patient! This venue had the most amazing food and incredible antipasto spread. Every guest of ours had amazing things to say about the food and overall ambience. We also took the most stunning photos on their property (especially the balconies outside). I'd get married in this venue every single time!!
I'm actually shocked how high the reviews are on this venue and I'm wondering if its a race thing... or they had a terrible night or staff the evening I'm reviewing? Our family attended a wedding here in the summer and I would not recommend this venue. In addition to my own wedding, I've attended many weddings at multiple venues and this was by far the worst. The food was gross, all our families chicken was undercooked including all the children's chicken fingers... when they remade the children's food (all 10 tables with kids) it was still undercooked, also they made up some lie that the food couldn't be given to any child under 2 years old and that it was a mistake the younger children even got food the first time... which I've never heard this before and I think they just said it as an excuse to not remake all the food. 99% of the staff looked pissed off and were extremely short and rude to all the guests. Our immediate family is very large and everyone complained to the couples family afterwards. They should've been comp'd or given a discount for the food alone. The only reason I give 2 stars is that one of our servers was very pleasant and the decor and state of the venue is nice. Looks newly renovated. I also saw and heard how the bride was treated.. she is a quiet, calm, and very nice girl, and they refused to give her water before walking down the aisle (40 degree weather in a massive princess gown) because they said they were still setting up the bar. They also refused to let her use the back entrance to walk down the aisle and instead made her walk out infront of all the guests around the building to the parking lot, through a giant Puddle of runoff water from the the fountain on the terrace to get to the ceremony. It was shocking because this family is a very respectful and wealthy family who clearly dropped a lot of money on the wedding. I hope the family was apologized to. If I was invited to another wedding here I would probably decline and just send money. Sorry to be so harsh but this was the reality of the situation.
My husband and I recently got married at the Royal Venetian Mansion in September 2025 and it was honestly perfect, and a huge reason is because of the staff at this amazing venue. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Maria throughout the entire process and she is incredible, she is assuring, quick to respond, detail oriented and cares so much about all of her clients. I walked away feeling like I made a close friend. I can’t begin to explain how much I felt cared for by her through every question, detail change and freak out (yes, those happen a lot as a bride to be). She kept me on track, and was always ready to help me work through anything that came up. Outside of all the amazing things I can say about her, I also have to credit the amazing staff. From the front of house to kitchen staff, they made our day truly something so special. We can’t even count how many of our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food, everything from our cocktail hour to late nights were incredible. The short rib was 10/10. The bartenders were also incredible, making a special evening for everyone. The wait staff worked diligently and professionally, always around but never in the way of a special key moment. I would recommend this incredible venue to any recently engaged couple, you will not regret it.
I flew in from Florida to attend a wedding here on September 27, and I was thoroughly impressed! The venue was beautifully modern, with stylish and up-to-date aesthetics that created the perfect atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, and the entire event ran smoothly thanks to excellent coordination. A special shoutout to Sarah and Eva at the bar — they were fantastic! Not only were they friendly and attentive, but they also remembered our drink orders and brought great energy to the celebration. It was clear they were enjoying themselves, which made the experience even better for everyone.
Beautiful place for an event, and the staff were great. They have a nice rooftop terrace if the weather is good. Everything seemed well maintained and the ballroom exceeded expectations. The food was excellent and somehow very hot. (Plates hot and food hot).
I recently attended an event at The Royal Venetian in Aurora, and I can honestly say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning — elegant, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It felt welcoming the moment I walked in, and everything about the space created the perfect atmosphere for the event. The staff went above and beyond in every way. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The bartender was outstanding — not only quick and efficient, but also warm and engaging, making everyone feel taken care of. The management team was equally impressive, ensuring everything ran smoothly and making sure all of our needs were met throughout the night. It’s clear they truly care about the guest experience. And the food — absolutely amazing. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. You could tell there was real attention to detail in the preparation, and it made the dining experience just as memorable as the rest of the evening. Overall, everything was flawless — from the service and management to the atmosphere and cuisine. I couldn’t recommend The Royal Venetian more highly. If you’re looking for a venue in Aurora that combines elegance with exceptional service, this is it.
What a nice place! Food was really good. Ultra clean facilities. Wait staff was polite, courteous and attentive. Especially Sara behind the bar. Super nice and accomodating. If you need a venue in Aurora/Newmarket, this would be an amazing consideration.
