Made my first visit after reading all the great reviews. Made several purchases as I wanted to try everything. I cooked up a couple tenderloins for dinner and wow, totally unexpected! In terms of tenderness, probably the best I ever had…even over restaurant quality. And taste…double wow as it was super flavourful and buttery. It melted in my mouth. I made several other purchases and can’t wait to try them. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. This place is Definitely a gem! I will definitely be visiting frequently.
Kloster’s is one of the best kept secrets of Aurora. It’s a beautiful old school-feel butcher shop, with a fabulous selection of top-quality meats and ready made items. Yes, some items are pricey but you pay for the quality, and most are comparative to grocery store prices. Huge bonus: if you have a dog that loves marrow bones, you can pick one (or two) up while you are getting your own BBQ supplies! Did I mention the incredible service there? Superb quality products! Hayley and the staff are very friendly! I have bought many quarters of beef and full pork loins and have never been disapointed :)
The meats were incredibly fresh and delicious and the staff was friendly. The store was clean and well- organized and the prices were fair considering the high quality of products.
I use to visit the original store in Newmarket and was so happy that Hailey took the family business to the store now in AURORA after the Newmarket closure !!! What a GREAT Butcher shop and so much to offer customers. I went by a couple of weeks ago and got a couple of wonderful Rib steaks cut for me and some sausages . Those steaks ,grass fed ect...were some of the best I have ever had and the sausage's were also excellent !!! Will always come here as long as they are here!! Bought my turkey gravy here for Christmas. Purchased a week ahead and was able to freeze it. Saved that extra “to do” on Christmas Day. Will definitely do it again next year !! And on top of it very delicious !
