Great service. Had winter tires installed and new brakes and rotors fitted. Would recommend every one use this company. Friendly staff and customer service is great.

EDIT: A day after posting this review, I got a call from the shop, asking to have me bring in the vehicle so they could see what happened/what they could do. An appointment was made for the next afternoon. They ended up straightening out the pinch weld & painted over the damaged areas. Not perfect, but certainly much better than before the fix. I really appreciated that they were willing to take full responsibility for what happened, and not ONCE mentioned that the damaged might have been caused by someone else at another time. They went went so far as to thank me for letting them know what happened, so that they can avoid this happening again in the future for other customers. Also, in my original review below, I mentioned not being able to find the email address for specific Active Green+Ross locations on their website, and while this is still true (as best as I can tell), I had failed to check the work order form, which does have a location specific email address that I could have used. Rating adjusted to 5 stars. I would do 4.5 stars if I could, because I feel like something as basic as a lift/jack location on a fairly common car (VW Golf) should not be the kind of mistake a professional shop makes. On the other hand, I know that mistakes happen, and what really defines a company/person is how they handle the mistake. In which case, a solid 5 stars for how the mistake was handled. I will continue brining my & my family's vehicles here + continue to recommend this location to my friends. --initial review-- Short version: Using improper lift/jack points resulted in bent pinch welds. Would have given a 2 star for this experience in isolation, but thought it would be unfair to this shop overall because my family & I have had multiple cars serviced by them numerous times, and every single other experience with them has been a solid 5-star experience. Super friendly, punctual, goes above-and-beyond in explaining the work that was done, or why they can’t do something, + a spacious & clean waiting area. Their inspection services are great with the pictures & detailed report viewable online. Honestly every past experience has been lovely, leading me to refer family & friends. Which sadly made this most recent experience even more surprising & disappointing. In the photos below, I have marked in red where the car was (improperly) lifted, and in green where it’s supposed to have been lifted. -- Detailed version:
I intended on emailing them about this privately as an “FYI this happened to me, and I hope this doesn’t happen to other customers in the future, even though I know I can’t prove to you it was your shop’s fault” but there does not seem to be an email listed for specific locations on the Active Green+Ross website. I feel like it would be odd to stop by in person to talk to them about this, because I can’t prove that the damage was caused by their staff (i.e. they could claim it was damaged by someone else after their work was done). So for what ever my word is worth… I respray “CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor” on the pinch welds of all my cars every time after it has been lifted/jacked up because the corrosion inhibitor wears off where it makes contact with the left/jack. This is how I am able to easily identify where a shop has lifted the car each time. These photos were taken a week after they had worked on the car. I accept that it was my fault for not checking before leaving their parking lot (I just had so many good experiences with them previously, I evidently got too trusting). I only noticed the damage when respraying the corrosion inhibitor today. I didn’t respray earlier because the entire reason why I went to their shop in the first place was due to a tire puncture. Tire couldn’t be patched (they very nicely explained why, and I understand/agree with their assessment), so I drove the car home, and only have been driving my other car for the past week.

Wanted to change my review to express my gratitude for someone calling me back to explain the previous issue. This shows dedication to Client satisfaction. Appreciate it.

I am a regular customer at this location. My experience has been great all these years. I recently bought a set of new wheel rims for my winter tires and the installation and oil change was done promptly. The service staff are always helpful and professional.
