Greenside Up was recommended by a landscape architect. It was a new build and they installed gardens, sod , walkways , driveway & fencing. The job was done professionally, & on time. Jay & everyone who worked on the job were a pleasure to deal with , I would highly recommend them Laurie Mountford
We hired Green Side Up to redo both the back and front yards and we are so pleased with the final result. Every member of the crew was friendly and professional, and respectful of our property and belongings. Jay exceeded our expectations in how he led us through the project from the estimate to the completion of our project. He responded quickly to questions and always kept us updated on their progress. Also, besides a $500 deposit to confirm a start date, he didn’t ask for any money until the project was completed. This really helped alleviate some of the stress and worry that you might have when hiring for big projects like this. I absolutely recommend hiring Jay and his crew for your landscaping needs. They are true professionals!
We had a very disappointing experience with Green Side Up Contracting. From the start, Jay S. was rude and dismissive throughout the process. He came across as pushy and forceful in his approach, which made us uncomfortable. Instead of listening to our needs, he seemed more interested in rushing us to commit. Ultimately, we chose to go with another company that was far more professional, respectful, and collaborative. Would not recommend based on our experience. **UPDATE: This is not a fake review. I find it particularly odd and inappropriate for Jay to respond with such aggression and unfounded accusations. His reply only reinforces the tone and behaviour I referenced in my original review — dismissive, defensive, and unnecessarily hostile. To be clear, I am a real person who had a real and disappointing experience. I’m under no obligation to provide an estimate number or satisfy his demands. Reviews exist so that people can share their experiences — positive or negative — and they can be public or private. Jay does not set the terms for how I share mine. Also, I find it ironic that while accusing others of review manipulation, Green Side Up has received a notable influx of recent 5-star reviews itself. That’s not an accusation — just an observation. My review stands, and Jay’s response is exactly why.
I called the number on the website on Monday. The guy said he'd call back in 5 minutes, he never did. I signed up for the appointment to talk to someone about our fence. It was booked for 2pm, I've had several email and text reminders about this call and yet I am still waiting 35 minutes later.
