I feel compelled to write this review to warn others about the severe and unacceptable conditions at this restaurant. My experience was not just bad; it was a legitimate health hazard. From the moment we walked in, the place was visibly filthy. The floors were sticky with grime, and the tables were wiped with a dirty, greasy cloth, leaving them worse than before. We were given menus that were stained and sticky to the touch. The staff's appearance and practices were equally appalling. Their uniforms were dirty, and we observed them handling food and clean utensils without any regard for basic hygiene—no gloves, and no hand washing. It was disgusting to watch. The food itself was inedible. My meal was served lukewarm and had an off-putting smell. We found a hair in one of the dishes, which was the final straw. We immediately lost our appetite and left without finishing our food. This establishment has a complete disregard for customer safety and well-being. There is zero attention to cleanliness or health standards. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs unless you want to risk food poisoning. I will never return and will be sure to share this experience with everyone I know.
We ordered catering for 20 people and it was amazing! The service level, food, and ease of ordering was amazing. Tej took care of everything! And our guests were raving about the build your own burrito bowl. 100% recommend for a group party. Thank you again!!
Placed an online order at 5:27pm, got the message that it will ready for pick up at 5:42pm. Waited till 5:45 and me asking her about my order for the person to even start making my order. People who come into the store have priority over people who already paid and are waiting for their food so ordering online is useless. The person serving me couldn't even be bothered to look at my order and needed me to read out to her my whole order. Definitely not coming here ever again. Waste of money and time waiting for subpar food.
I’ve had one of the most disappointing experiences at Mucho Burrito – Aurora — and sadly, this is not the first time. From the moment I arrived, the customer service and overall attitude toward guests felt indifferent and unwelcoming. Despite placing a very simple order, I was left waiting an unreasonably long time with no updates or apologies. After far too long, I had no choice but to cancel my order and leave. The atmosphere in the restaurant also felt tense and uninviting. If one staff member is not enough to properly handle customers and their orders, it is the manager’s responsibility to address this issue. Based on multiple negative experiences, I absolutely do not recommend this location — not for dine-in, not for online orders, and not for take-out. For a brand like Mucho Burrito, this level of service and environment is completely unacceptable. Even one star feels generous.
DO NOT leave a tip here. The poor students working here get zero. They’re afraid to complain and lose their jobs. He’s breaking the law Ministry of Labour 14.2(1) Employment Standards Act. He admitted he keeps all the tips.
Just got steak tacos for take out from Aurora location. The steak was completely dry and barely chewable with no seasoning. Please don't serve old meat to customers. You just lost 2. We have enjoyed burritos there in the past but these tacos were terrible. I give it one star because the server was friendly.
Very fresh and huge burritos. They cook chicken breaks fresh and the vegetables as well. Probably most everything is fresh. Filled me up too and I'm a big guy.
