The BEST Portuguese chicken I've ever had, hands down! Also, one of the few places in town that feels like "bang for your buck." Always fresh to order, always hot and always juicy. The Piri Piri sauce is INCREDIBLEY flavorful. The rice...ridiculously good. The ladies that run this place are lovely, as well. Always welcoming.
We usually order from the Chicken Place, they have a good 2 for 1 deal on uber eats. The flat chicken is always burnt a bit so we have to remove the burnt parts every time, which are cancerous. The flat chicken we ordered this time is terribly burnt. How can they serve chicken that looks like this and think its acceptable? I am usually not one to complain but this is not okay.
This place was my go to for Portugese chicken, unfortunately the quality has gone down. Fries are overcooked and hard kids do not like it, chicken is burnt, and dry as well, will be sticking with Red Rooster in the future. It’s a shame but guess it happens with some places
The food has suffered with the new owners. I've been there twice since the ownership changed, and both times I've been disappointed. The chicken was burned and the potatoes bland. I don't think they were even salted. The coleslaw was decent, but only a step above No Frills coleslaw, I'd say.
Save your money and do not order from here! I wish I could give 0 star! We ordered flat chicken combo which came burnt. It is flat as in no meat! Horrible!! tasted old and the sides were cold and mushy! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
If I can give this place a zero I would. I paid for 4 tarts gave me 3, had to go back to get my other tart and it happened In front of the lady we didn’t leave the building. I purchased 5 sauces they gave me 4, they didn’t give me my receipt but I paid $39.00 and change for 2 sandwich combos and medium fries with 5 sauces. They didn’t give us the sauce and it all happened in front of them. It’s not the price it’s the principle treat your customers better. Tarts was a separate transaction too, so easy to identify the quantity of item purchased.
been going here for years. Always solid. New owners. Not as good. Soggy sandwich gross. Tried again. Burnt bread on 1 part. Soggy on the other side. Fatty meat not properly trimmed. Did not get what I asked in my order. Tried again Sept 2025. Had to split out every bite of steak sandwich. Full of fat not trimmed. Burned bread again and not cut properly
