Beautiful residence in the heart of Aurora. Very nice people there, both staff and residents, who love Canadian music! Laura and Judy are amazing and very helpful.
My family would like to thank the staff at Chartwell Hollandview Trail for welcoming my father into their community. From my first phone conversation with Patty, I knew my father would appreciate the staff’s kindness and professionalism. Patty took the time to explain the many wellness and safety features at Hollandview Trail. Our tour highlighted the many amenities and activities available to the residents. I have been very pleased with the staff’s communication with our family. They have used email and phone calls to support and keep our family up-to-date. The monthly calendar and newsletter help my father plan the activities and events he would like to attend. He enjoys the meals served in the lovely dining room; along with the breakfast and all day snacks available in the bistro . The staff has supported my Dad’s transition from his home with their welcoming nature, and by going out of their way to introduce him to the other residents. We are impressed by the speed in which the staff has learned his name, such a special touch for a newcomer. Thank you to everyone at Chartwell Hollandview who have made my father, and our family, feel at home.
Volunteering at Chartwell was one of my favourite activities I did in all of high school. Everyone is super friendly and there's plenty of activities for residents to get involved in! It doesn't take long to feel a sense of belonging in the positive community atmosphere here :)
I provided in-person painting classes monthly to the seniors at Hollandview Trail from 2018-2020. The staff are so helpful and the residents were engaged and having fun. The home is very clean and super friendly staff and welcoming residents at the front door were always nice to see. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a retirement residence to live at.
The staff at Hollandview is fantastic.... I would describe them as welcoming, high-touch, professional, and focused on making this a wonderful community. Their programs are engaging and well received. The medical staff is very dedicated. Very strong leadership thru the pandemic !
Chartwell Hollandview has been a wonderful place for my parents. The staff are always so accommodating and always cheerful to the residents, no matter how trying or tiring it must be to address everyone’s asks and needs. Throughout the pandemic they have been exceptionally diligent and, given all of the horror stories in long- term care, to have not a single resident lost to this awful virus is amazing. I can’t say enough good things about Hollandview Chartwell - they’ve been like a second family.
Hollandview Trail is a lovely community cared for by an amazing team that surpasses expectation. It’s a beautiful building with lovely gardens, but more than just a place, Hollandview Trail is a community. Each resident is treated with respect and cared for by an amazing team of caregivers that respond to the changing needs of each resident. The staff take their time to be attentive to not just the residents but their family members too.
