My husband and daughter went there today and had pleasure to have Dr.Alireza Lashgari as walk in doctor: he is incredibly professional, attentive, and compassionate. He took the time to thoroughly understand their concerns and explain treatment options in a clear, reassuring way. My daughter and husband felt genuinely cared for and confident in the care received. Highly recommended the clinic, specially Dr.Alireza.
The receptionists here are extremely rude and unhelpful. They appear untrained, lack basic empathy toward patients, and do not handle their responsibilities properly. Paperwork is often left incomplete, follow-ups with doctors are neglected, and patients are not updated in a timely manner. They make unfair assumptions that patients automatically know when to visit or sign documents, without providing clear instructions. Calls for help are not passed on to doctors, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, patients are told to “find specialists on Google,” which shows a complete lack of professionalism. This level of service is unacceptable in a healthcare setting and needs urgent improvement.
I was recently diagnosed with an illness that's stress related and was advised to get cortisol blood work to have a baseline to manage. When I asked the physician Dr. SALAR FALLAHIAN about this blood work he was extremely rude condescending and lacked professional conduct. He argued with me about the costs of blood work rather than take the time to understand my concerns. As a Canadian I have been paying taxes for 30 years and have never used the healthcare system. The one time I request blood work to manage my health "Dr" FALLAHIAN refused to even hear the request and scoffed at my request stating how "expensive" blood work is. Sadly my family Doctor of 25 years passed away so my children and I are stuck with these unprofessional Doctors that lack basic etiquette and bedside manners. Shame on you!
I had left this clinic a review below and at the time I was pregnant and haven't had a chance to get a new family doctor. Well I phoned in for a newborn first visit appointment and then was called back and they cancelled the appt. When I inquired as to why this has happened, I dont remember her name but she identified as the clinic manager she is also a doctor there I believe interrogated me as to why I have left them a negative review and why do I then need to see a doctor. I stated that I obviously have a freedom of speech and the reviews actually should encourage them to do a better job not take out their aggression on a well being of a brand new baby. After I told them that I will escalate the matters as at that point it is a proffesiinal misconduct, she was quickly ready to offer me the appt. I ended up not taking my precious child into a vindictive dramatic toxic environment and haven't had yet a chance to file a complaint within the college but once I get the time I definetely will as that is a proffesional misconduct and my review should have nothing to do with the care I receive or a child that is innocent and its a baby that they are screwing with, absolutely appalling and disgusting. I have been to this clinic a few times and every time its a bit of a bizarre experience. I find this odd as Aurora is overall a pleasant town however the clinic itself is a bit weird. The front desk is weird like for example today I asked for my prescription they said go to pharmacy I though weird but ok then I was called back by the other receptionist and told to have a sit down I was like okayyy then I got called by the pharmacy and asked if I had insurance or want to pay out of pocket and im like neither, like why am I being given a run around instead of simply handed in the prescription that the doctor is required to give me personally BY LAW and then I can decide when and where I will be filling it. I wasn't asked any question or consent and I have never ran into anything like this before like ever. My family doctor, Dr. Rasha was extremely mean and rude and condescending upon a few visits I have had in the beginning. She was like what you want? Why you here? Or like you know I have other patients? All this while standing one foot by the door and I was there for maximum 2 mins and she is losing it! The oddest part of it all is that this other woman from Aurora highly recommended her to me and she was raving about her soft spoken ways and bedside manners and I am like I am terrified of the lady want are you talking about and how is our experiences so different? If you are good human, you are kind of good to everyone, why pick and choose? ??. Anyways, my last visit was sort of ok because I had called the College but I am not sure whether they called her or not but I am really tempted to call the College again because frankly there is a level of standard of care and customer service required by law so they kind of have to step it up and also stop their bizarre practices. Seriously im surprised that this is happening in Aurora as even in Toronto for my OB-GYN who is rated very very highly i dont deal with difficult staff and everyone is an absolute delight.
