No one cares about you in this world. Mentally ill since 12. Docs feed me meds. No follow ups. No psychiatrist follow ups nothing. Even being after let out of inpatient ward, I'm treated like I'm not important. Dr Hendrick ignores my issues. Google's info she should know in front me. Never remembers to fax. I have to wait up till a month sometimes for medication for chronic illness and ptsd when it is not even safe to do so. U respectionists also don't care if we ask why isn't it refferal being sent why is my fax of meds not filled .. oh. she's busy. Well, I just saw her like last month still she forgets my heart Cardiogram papers I'm 109 pounds at 5'7 Getting sicker mentally and physically. I've overdosed many times. Many concussions to point of seizures. But she never writes that on my scans for my head. Goes out of her way to put "healthy female patient complains about heachaches" that is most definitely not what I told her. I have become a shell of myself. Thanks Southlake and dr Hendrick
I visited Dr. Hendrick on Monday and asked for an urgent referral which she said that she would send directly to the specialist. I asked her to send it urgently. However, 2 days later the referral still hasn't been sent yet. I called on Wednesday and spoke to the receptionist Evangeline who was extremely rude and kept saying Go to Emergency. It was a very frustrating experience dealing with this rude receptionist.
Dr. Hendrick is the number one doctor out there in my greatest opinion.. I am more than thankful that she is my family doctor. She cares so deeply about her patients and takes her time to listen and know exactly what is being addressed. Currently dealing with an unknown situation medically and just talking to her helps me relax and breathe. She’s just so genuine and loves her job and patients. I just read some very harsh reviews towards doctors Hendrick.. absolutely not okay. She works harder and actually takes time to understand her paitents. Yeah I’m dealing with mental illness issues too and I am on medication that can’t go without because welll it could potentially be dangerous to not have it, but that’s only if you run out of your prescription before you’re due she can get in trouble for over prescribing so if you think it’s dangerous that she hasn’t sent your medication maybe you should check your dosage on your bottle and make sure you’re not overtaking them She has a doctor’s degree license I’m sure she knows exactly what she’s doing … either way but that is no reason to give a bad review. For one, she just had a baby and took what.. a month not even off.. to help take care of I’m sure alot of paitents. She’s in out in out all day making phone calls on her days off. Give her a break. Go find a better doctor, because good luck finding someone better than the best. Katrina M. S.
I am absolutely furious and deeply disappointed by the way my father was treated by Dr. Luhua Rao's office located at the Hollandview Medical Centre, unit 300. He was looking to switch family doctors and found Dr. Rao, who was accepting new patients, so he made an appointment. However, things quickly went downhill after that. First, he received a call asking to reschedule his appointment for a later time, which he was fine with. However, he was outside walking at the time of the call and asked if they could send a confirmation with the new date since he couldn’t write it down. What happened next was completely unacceptable: he was *yelled at* by the secretary, Terry, who told him they don’t send reminders and that he *better remember* the date. The tone was rude, and there was no empathy or understanding of his situation. Today, the day of his appointment, my dad arrived, excited to finally see the new doctor after waiting for over a month, only to be told his appointment was canceled. The reason? According to the staff, he was "rude" on the phone when all he did was ask for a simple confirmation. My dad tried to explain and apologize, asking if there was any way he could still see Dr. Rao, but instead of a reasonable response, both secretaries *yelled at him* and threatened to call the police if he didn’t leave immediately. My dad is one of the most calm and polite people you could meet, and to see him treated with such disrespect was heartbreaking. There’s absolutely no reason for patients to be treated this way. This office’s complete lack of professionalism and courtesy is appalling. If you're looking for a family physician, I strongly suggest you avoid Dr. Luhua Rao’s practice, as they clearly have no regard for patients' needs or dignity. This experience has been deeply upsetting and I would never recommend this office to anyone. Absolutely disgraceful. ???
Dr. Hendrick is great! She is my family doctor for myself, my daughter and husband. What sets her aside from other doctors is that she never makes you feel rushed and more importantly listens to your concerns and is always supportive when you request further follow up. She always urges on the side of caution instead of being dismissive which is so comforting!
The worst receptionist I’ve ever had to deal with in my entire life. Apparently the words “There is only a wall between you and the pharmacy, are you able to pop your head over and ask them if they sent the fax?” is swearing AND yelling, and she just flips a switch a starts yelling at me and in turn, only frustrating me to a point where when I show the tiniest hint of annoyance, that’s all she needs to hang up on me basically every time I talk to her. There is another woman there who is so sweet, so polite and so pleasant to talk to, but for some reason this receptionist really really hates me and can’t talk to me like I’m a human being. It’s good fun when she answers the phone. Ridiculous.
The secretary and doctors here are truly amazing and empathetic. The best healthcare I've ever received and I am thankful. Dr. Hendrick has helped me through hard times of my life and has been incredibly impactful. She is a very skilled, empathetic, intelligent and passionate doctor. I can't thank them enough!
