this place is seriously the cutest. not only are the sweets absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is so adorable. i can’t believe we’re only finding out about them now! i love the mice ornaments and all the greaves jam, which can be hard to find! totally recommend the danishes, and the shortbread is excellent, but everything we’ve had so far is just so good
The best and longest standing bakery in town. Break, cakes, cookies. I also find their pricing is much better than a lot of other while at a higher quality. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I ordered my wedding cake from here. The florals I had purchased elsewhere. However they did a phenomenal job adding it to the cake. The cake I had requested had no design on it however the baker / staff asked if I wanted to out the pearls around to add a little pop. I am so glad they did because it added the perfect touch to it. Cake tasted delicious. And a bonus, they are affordable and their customer service is exceptional. Definitely will order another cake soon!
Literally the BEST blueberry muffins and I’m now starting to try other things and wish I didn’t. Everything is so delicious! Best and worst having them so close by haha. Highly recommend Hurst for all your baked goods.
Visited this bakery to make an inquiry about a custom cake, and the two staff I had spoken with were not friendly during the entire exchange. Despite not receiving the best service, I still made a purchase of their bread and my family was not impressed with the taste. What a disappointment.
One of my favourite places for pie and coffee cake. Highly recommend the Swiss apple pie and the lemon raspberry coffee cake. Service is also excellent - the girls behind the counter are always friendly and helpful. Recommend that you order ahead if you're picking up something special on a Saturday - it gets busy and they sell out fast.
Amazing place. Great baked goods. Love the cakes. The coconut lemon square is fantastic as well. The service is par excellence. I had called 10 mins to close to pick up a few cup cakes. When I reached around closing time I did not feel rushed. Alessia is just fabulous. She really embodies great service qualities. She is just phenomenal! Give her a raise!
