I was very disappointed with my experience at TAT bakery. The customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful, which made the visit unpleasant. On top of that, the quality of the products did not match the high prices being charged. Overall, I felt the value was poor and I would not recommend this bakery to others.
We used to buy bread from Tat Bakery about four times a week, but unfortunately, the quality has noticeably gone down recently. Despite bringing up our concerns with the owner, there’s been no acknowledgment or effort to improve. As loyal customers, it’s disappointing to see this change. I would kindly recommend the owner visit Jamshid Bakery in Newmarket to experience the quality and consistency that a neighborhood bakery should offer. Authentic flavors, friendly service, and delicious fresh products. Absolutely authentic Persian bakery! The Sangak bread is always fresh, perfectly baked, and full flavor. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making the whole experience wonderful. A must-try for anyone craving a taste of Persia!
The store owner is rude. He has a very bad attitude. He is selling Sangak $5.00 each. This is while in all other stores it is selling for $4.00. Does not recommend this place
Sometimes you get great bread here, but other times they sell old bread that’s already lost its quality. The problem is they mix it with the fresh bread, so unless you’re very careful, you end up paying full price for stale bread.
Tat Bakery is a fantastic spot for fresh and authentic Iranian bread! Their Sangak and Taftoon are top-notch—always fresh, flavorful, and just like the bread you’d find back home. The aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air, making it a delightful experience every time you visit. The only downside was an interaction I had when trying to take a video for Google Maps. One of the employees asked me not to take videos, which I completely understand, but the way it was communicated came off as unnecessarily rude. It was a small hiccup in an otherwise great experience. That aside, the quality of their bread and the authenticity of their offerings make it a bakery worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back for more of that delicious Sangak!
