Decent gym. However I think they really need a few more lower body machines. Maybe another hamstring machine and I 100% think they would benefit from a smith machine. A lot of women can be intimidated to start squats on the squat rack and the smith machine is perfect for the extra assistance. Also you can do so many workouts on the smith machine. (Lower and upper) I think this would be a great investment in helping women tone their curves and build shape.
Overall the gym equipment is fine. But I find it scary & unacceptable that the floor shakes BADLY through the gym & change room area if there is a class going on. For a gym on the second floor of a grocery store I have expectations that the building is structurally sound. I don't believe this place is & will no longer come here during classes as I feel it is unsafe to do so.

Friendly staff, but always smells like food in there and combined with sweat isnt a pleasant smell. Small, but decent amount of equipment.
I used to work out here when they first opened. They had a baby sitting service. Because of challenges in my life I stopped going but returned to today to work out. I was surprised by the fact that they took away baby sitting and replaced it with a circuit training room. I feel it is becoming more corporate now and disappointed that Patchell-Evans, the founder, has become so greedy. He closed down the women's location much against the community protest in Newmarket. Good Life has become a corporate greedy place and I don't like the changes. It is all about the money now. Women used to drop their toddlers off on weekends so they can work out, I wonder what happened to the humanitarian side of Patchell-Evans? It is capitalism!
