I have been going to various exercise classes at GoodLife Aurora for many years. The instructors for the exercise classes are all excellent. I really enjoy the RPM class led by Pat V. She is fun and energetic and she encourages you to work harder. She makes you feel you're part of a community. Recently, I also signed up for personal training with Harper. I've noticed improvement in my strength and endurance. I find the facilities to be clean and pleasant.
Not very helpful frontdesk and managemnet. Feel confused by getting wrong, inaccurate, and inconsistent information from the staff. Canceled my membership after a month. Not recommend it at all.
This is easily the worst GoodLife I have been to, unfortunately. I grew up here and while coming to this location while staying with my parents for a visit, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. The front staff were rude, on their phones while you spoke to them and seemed annoyed if you asked them anything. The trainers were hostile and while I was there I encountered another member who threw a dumbbell in the free weight space, almost landing on my foot. The encounter turned into him yelling at me and getting aggressive. Despite there being 3 trainers on the floor, no one interjected or checked in. If you are at all concerned about cleanliness, let alone COVID, don’t go here. It is very clear that management does/did not encourage members to wipe equipment, nor distancing. Trainers were getting right up in my face asking about equipment without a mask on when I was clearly wearing one. This is very alarming coming off the years we just had. I’ve been to multiple locations across Toronto/GTA and this is easily the worst I’ve been to.
The managers, Maria and Brad, are rude individuals who have no proper training, education, and experience to handle the job properly. That includes no respect for older people. They are extremely outrageous and do not care for members and definitely not fit for the position. I recommend that they go under extensive training and discipline before they handle adult issues otherwise they will end up in court on front of a judge explaining their rudeness towards decent people. I wonder who hires them? Potentiality, they are liability to the organization by behaving so immature.
I go to various locations of GoodLife, the only reason I keep my membership is that No other gym has as many locations as GoodLife and their service generally is not the greatest! The Aurora Center location tho, feels like it is managed and owned by a total different company! Love this location! Staff are very helpful (at least throughout my interactions with them) very clean, great layout, multiple cardio machines and free weights. If GoodLife looks for an example for how their service should be, they should definitely check this place out!
Lots of equipment, great group classes. Bathroom needs a little updating compared to other Goodlife locations. No Hot Yoga, No pool!
Very good and clean and well managed. i always know the equipments are available when you go at night and its not too overcrowded. there is a nice tan bed, massage chair, and good clean facilities. i am glad to come to this gl place
Love it and the classes and instructors. Have lost the weight, toned up and still go just because it makes me feel good.
